Chimney Fire O'Grady Road Canaan 01/30/20
The Canaan Task Force and Chatham Rescue were dispatched by Columbia County 911 at 7:35am for a reported chimney fire at 9 O'Grady Road in the town of Canaan. It was reported that there were flames from the top of the chimney.
Firefighters from Canaan, East Chatham, Lebanon Valley and Red Rock responded.
The Canaan Highway Department and Columbia County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
Command reported the fire was contained to the chimney.
Firefighters were back in service at 8:34am.
