Power crews made good progress this afternoon, reducing the number without power by more than a half.
Central Hudson is down to 1400 out in Greene County
Nyseg has reduced their outages to 1700 in Columbia County
and National Grid has less than a hundred out in Columbia County.
The bad news is, that are not setting estimates on when those left will get the lights back on.
Crews will continue to work into the evening.
