The grand opening of the new Claverack Free Library and community center is set for Saturday, October 26th: Noon- 4PM.
All are invited for an afternoon of festivities, including ribbon cutting,in addition to Claverack Library representatives, speakers will include the Honorable Kippy Weigelt, Claverack Town Supervisor; the Honorable Antonio Delgado, U.S. Congressman, 19th District of New York; the Honorable Didi Barrett, New York State Assembly District 106; Jeremy Johannesen, Executive Director, New York Library Association; and Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, Executive Director, Mid-Hudson Library System.,tours and autumnal refreshments to celebrate the opening of the new library in the former A.B. Shaw Firehouse at 629 Route 23B, Claverack.
