Ten Police Officers of Zone 14 Graduate from Columbia-Greene Community College

Zone 14 held its 2019 Law Enforcement Academy Graduation at Columbia-Greene Community College on Saturday April 6th.

 The Commencement for 10 Police Officers spanning from 10 different Departments graduated from the academy.

·Charles E. Cole, Village of Athens Police Department

·Tyler R. Conley, Village of Millertown Police Department

·Daryl J. Eldred, Green County Sheriff’s Office

·BobbiSue Garvansites, Town of Schodack Police Department

·Joshua T. Leis, Town Cairo Police Department

·Kyle J. Loeper, Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office

·Jessica L. Mausolf, Columbia County Sherriff’s Office

·Natalia F. Telles, Town of Greenport Police Department

·Cody D. Williams, Town of Philmont Police Department

Four class awards were given, including the Top Gun Award (proficiency in firearms) to Michael A. Beliveau, Physical Training Award and the Highest Academic Average went to Cody D. Williams, and the Overall Outstanding Recruit was awarded to Jessica L. Mausolf.

The Academy is sponsored by the Columbia and Greene Sheriff’s Offices and the college, and is fully accredited by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. Zone 14 Police and Law Enforcement Academy provides training for recruits in both municipal and county police departments.

In addition to recognizing the newly minted Officers, a moment of silence was held in honor of the late Sheriff Paul Proper, Sr.
