Barmen trial ends in another hung jury

The second rape trial of 44 year old Jeffrey Barmen has again ended with a hung jury.

His first trial, last November, ended the same way.

We have not heard from the Columbia County D.A's office yet, on whether they will proceed.

The D.A's office says Barmen's trial for criminal contempt, which was scheduled for April 1st, has now been put on hold.
