Dog found frozen to death, man arrested

A Stephentown man is facing felony charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, after State Police say, a dog was found frozen to death at his house.

Police went on to say, they were going to 33 year old Andrew Tuthill's house, because there was a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in New Lebanon Court, when they discovered the dead dog.

He was also charged at the New Lebanon barracks with not having appropriate shelter for dogs and bail jumping.

Additional charges are possible.

Police say they were assisted by Chatham Small Animal Hospital
